Welcome to The Final Girl Shirts ArchiveDuring the Screen Violence tour CHVRCHES introduced a new element to their headliner shows where the lead singer Lauren Mayberry did outfit changes throughout the show.
First she would open with typically a dress or outfit of her choosing, mid way through the set she would leave stage and quick change into typically a black pleather outfit and then about 2/3 the way though the set change into the white FINAL GIRL shirt with shorts. representing the Final Girl of horror movie trope fame. Once the main set was over and the band leaves the stage she would cover her arms and neck in fake blood as well as get the shirt bloody and then the band would come back out to play the last 3 songs during the encore. The bloody Final Girl shirt she wore the previous show was sold at the next headliner show signed by the band and up for grabs to the first person to get to the merch stand at the venue willing to purchase it. This site documents all of these official shirts known to be in existence. |

Many thanks to Alex K more than half of the photos from shows are his! This project would have been much harder without his work.
Also thanks to Jens he was also a big help with this project providing some pictures as well!
I did not keep track of who's photos I used for the bloody shirt show pictures very well but if you see yours on here and would like a credit or link to your socials contact me and I'm happy to do so!
